Question # 95: My horse sometimes roots on me and either pulls the reins out of my hands or pulls me out of position. What can I do to stop this? (Julie)

That is certainly an annoying habit! To stop it, you will want to make sure that you are not doing anything to cause your horse to do this. And you will need to make him feel like his attempts to pull you out of position or pull the reins out of your hands are unsuccessful. (Click on Question Title above (in blue) to read full answer)
